Thank you for using Rapid POS ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. By using Easy POS, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Information We Collect

a)  Personal Information
      When you register or use Rapid POS, we may collect:

      Your name, email address, and contact details.

      Business information (e.g., business name, address, tax regulation Type).

      Payment and transaction details (processed securely via third-party payment processors).

b)  Device & Usage Data
      We may automatically collect:

      Device information (e.g., IP address, operating system, device model).

      App usage data (e.g., features accessed, session duration).

      Crash reports and performance analytics (to improve the App).

c)  Inventory & Sales Data
      The App stores product details, sales records, and customer transactions locally on your device.

      If you enable cloud backup/sync, this data may be stored on secure servers.

 

d)  Data Collection Through App Permissions

      Rapid POS requests the following permissions solely for app functionality. We do not store, sell, misuse          data accessed via these permissions:

Essential Permissions

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:

Purpose: To sync data (if cloud backup is enabled), process payments, and fetch updates.

Data Handling: Network requests are encrypted; we do not log IP addresses or browsing activity.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (maxSdkVersion 32) / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (minSdkVersion 33):

Purpose: To import product images or backup files only when explicitly initiated by the user.

Data Handling: Images/files are processed locally and not uploaded to servers unless you enable cloud backup.

CAMERA:

Purpose: To scan barcodes or QR codes for inventory management.

Data Handling: Camera data is processed in real-time; no images are stored unless you manually save a scan result.

Background Services

FOREGROUND_SERVICE:

Purpose: To sync data in the background (e.g., transaction logs, inventory updates) only if cloud sync is enabled.

Data Handling: Syncs minimal required data; you can disable this feature in settings.
 

Notifications

POST_NOTIFICATIONS:

Purpose: To send transaction alerts or app updates (configurable in settings).

Data Handling: Notification preferences are stored locally; no behavioral tracking.

Bluetooth & USB

BLUETOOTH Permissions & Hardware Features:

Purpose: To connect to peripherals (e.g., receipt printers, barcode scanners).

Data Handling: We do not access or store Bluetooth device identifiers or user data from connected devices.
 

Additional Clarifications

No Hidden Data Collection: Permissions are strictly limited to the stated functionalities. For example:

Bluetooth permissions do not track location or device history.

Storage permissions do not access personal files unrelated to the app.

User Control: You can revoke permissions anytime via device settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

Provide, maintain, and improve Rapid POS.

Process transactions and generate receipts/invoices.

Offer customer support and troubleshoot issues.

Send important updates, security alerts, and promotional content (if opted in).

Analyze usage trends to enhance user experience.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

Contractual necessity (to provide the App’s services).

Payment Processors: To complete transactions (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).

Cloud Service Providers: For data backup (if enabled).

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect your data. However, no method is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
